The course is multidisciplinary and inter-agency training that is suitable for Local Authority Team Managers, Health and Police whom will be responsible for leading individual section 42(2) enquiries under the Care Act and/or have a key role in promoting good professional practice within their organisation, providing advice and expertise for fellow professionals.

 

The course will provide you with the knowledge you require to be able to lead individual safeguarding adult enquiries, to be clear about roles, responsibilities and accountabilities and to have a sound understanding of individual and organisational duties to support you to be competent in this role.

 

The course is accessed as virtual training. The course is a one-day module, available every quarter. Those attending this training must be able to evidence competencies up to and including Level 3.
