This training is taking place on Microsoft Teams

This course is suitable for staff working in adult health and care settings who have regular contact with adults who have needs for care and support and are at risk of abuse or neglect and for whom safeguarding concerns may need to be raised.  This includes DCC provider services, private/independent contractors or practitioners and voluntary sector partners.

This course will provide you with the knowledge you require to respond appropriately to safeguarding adult concerns, undertake initial risk assessments, consider evidence and make emergency protection plans. It will consider what actions should be taken by private/independent services to prevent harm from occurring in the first place.

This is a full day course and can be accessed as either face to face or virtual training.
