This course is suitable for staff working in adult health and care settings who have regular contact with adults who have needs for care and support and are at risk of abuse or neglect and may need to raise or respond to concerns raised by others. This includes DCC provider services, private/independent contractors or practitioners and voluntary sector partners.
THIS REFRESHER COURSE IS FOR THOSE THAT HAVE COMPLETED THEIR “LEVEL 2 PROVIDER SERVICES: RESPONDING TO SAFEGUARING ADULT CONCERNS” TRAINING 3 YEARS OR LONGER.
The learning outcomes are as follows:
- Able to recognise potential indicators of abuse, harm and neglect and refresh their knowledge of Level 2 learning outcomes.
- To refresh their knowledge of contemporary safeguarding issues and explore and apply this knowledge in a more interactive way.
